One of the best ways to incorporate the season into your wardrobe is to wear fall colors. Navy, army green, burgundy and brown are all colors that instantly make your outfit fall-appropriate.

There are a lot of things I love about fall. In this outfit, I combined some of my favorites; an ivory cable knit sweater, a pair of dark blue jeans and to top it off; a navy peacoat. I adore any kind of peacoat for fall.

A plaid scarf

Another good styling trick to get your existing wardrobe fall-ready is to simply add a plaid scarf. (Or anything plaid, really.)

Make sure you catch at least one new exhibition. Pay your homage to everything artistic by wearing a simple, yet stylish outfit. Grey and cognac are two colors that work very well together.
